What is this project about?
Voidbound is an OC project lead by 4 people: Merenq/cosmicTangent, aquaticVirtue, Exxcidio and LazyDes.
Voidbound originally started on July 23, 2025 as a group of OCs made by Merenq, aquaticVirtue and Exxcidio. The characters were heavily inspired by Nullscape on Roblox after Merenq discovered this game. After taking inspirations from other media (i.e. Made in Abyss, Blame!, Abyss World, Gachiakuta and parts of real life, such as the deep sea and extinct creatures), the project has developed into something much bigger with lore and characters that are actively being worked on almost every day.
A lot of the lore and characters were made by Merenq and aquaticVirtue, primarily once Merenq's interest in OCs sparked around November 16, 2025. LazyDes was added to the team on January 28, 2026 due to having interest in the project and greatly helping with developing the lore.
Voidbound is an open project, so you're free to make your own characters, as long as they comply with the lore! We'd love to see your characters.

Hi hello hi!!! I'm Io or Nico, also known as Merenq, Merenqwo or cosmicTangent on socials. My pronouns are they/xe/one. I'm basically one of the founders of the project! I'm not sure what to put here, but I'm very passionate about this project and love it dearly. My favorite character is Acheron, and my second favorite is Osvic! But I love all of my characters either way!

HELLO you may call me Clement Hyacinth Seaver or less officially aquaticVirtue (which is my nickname basically everywhere im active). I happen to go by he/they. I am one of the founders of Voidbound, a local seadweller, marine life enjoyer and Minecraft addict. I have no idea what else to put there but my favourite characters are Mitchell and Ceander!!
